The Girls Advanced Training Camp is for any and all intermediate to advanced female wrestlers ages 12-18 who are looking to elevate their technical and mental skills in the sport of wrestling. Camp will include morning beach runs, afternoon pool workouts, team competitions, motivational/mental training sessions, and high level technique taught by some of the most accomplished wrestling coaches in the country. This camp is designed to be a middle ground between the technique camp and the intensive camp to help push beyond their limits while building upon the technical foundation.

2025 SESSION DATES AND INFORMATION
The Girls Advanced Training Camp is scheduled from July 27-31, 2025.
Check-in will be from 12:00-1:30pm on the 27th. Check-out will be at 12:00pm on the 31st. Details will be e-mailed out during the month of June, but please feel free to contact us with any questions at any time.
Girls camps are open to any and all wrestlers 12-18 years of age and currently in Jr High or High School.
Please note this will be an advanced camp, so 1-2 years of experience is highly recommended.
REGISTRATION DETAILS
Resident (Overnight) - $765*
Commuter (Day Camper) - $595*
$100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure a spot (with registration form). The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the camp start date.
Group Discounts: Bring a group of 10+ and receive $25 off of each wrestler. Group applications must be sent in the same envelope.
*Please note: WCW operates in partnership with USA Wrestling and their membership program. All wrestlers without a current USA Wrestling membership card will incur an $8 fee for coverage during camp. This is the same card used to participate in USA sanctioned tournaments and events. Please note this will be secondary insurance for you in the event it is needed. usawmembership.com

LOCATION
The camp will be held at The Army and Navy Academy located in Carlsbad, California (1605 Carlsbad Blvd, Carlsbad, CA 92008). It is centered on a sixteen acre campus perfectly situated on the Pacific Ocean, thirty-five miles north of San Diego and eighty miles south of Los Angeles. map

Please note: Day 1 check-in will start at noon, so the first meal served will be dinner. Day 5 will have a takedown tournament in the morning with check-out at noon.

MEALS & LODGING
Overnight campers will stay in dorm rooms directly on The Army and Navy Academy campus. There will be 2-4 campers in each room with close supervision.
Meals (Overnight Campers): The first meal served on day one will be dinner. Please plan accordingly. Days 2-4: All meals will be provided. Breakfast will be served on the final day.

We will have a camp store available that will have snacks, drinks, and gear. Pizza and additional food items will also be available after the evening session.
WHAT TO BRING
Campers must bring:
- Wrestling gear: Wrestling shoes, kneepads, headgear & mouthpiece (optional), etc.
- Clothes: 12-15 sets of workout gear (t-shirts, shorts, socks), sweat tops & bottoms, pants, etc.
- Running shoes
- Swimsuits and beach towels (recommended to bring 2-3 of each)
- Personal items (bath towels (2-3), shower items, antibacterial soap, etc…)
- Shower shoes (flip flops or waterproof sandals)
- Mesh Laundry Bag
- Overnight Campers: Bedding to fit a twin size mattress (sheets, blankets and/or sleeping bags, and pillows)
- Goggles
- Refillable water bottle
- Bug spray
- Sunblock
- Small Fan (recommended - it gets warm)
- Money for camp store (optional)
- Defense foam or wipes
- An attitude of a champion
FYI: Laundry will be done for all wrestlers once during camp, but please pack generously. It is always better to have too many shirts and shorts than not enough!
SUPERVISION
The Army and Navy Academy campus offers a 24 hour security system, equipped with campus police and video monitors. Along with the campus police, we will have counselors on hand to supervise. Although this does not guarantee safety, we feel we are taking the measures necessary to help the camp run as smoothly as possible. (Beach access is locked during non-use times and will be monitored by campus security 24 hours a day. We will also have life guards on duty at all times during our beach use).
COMMUTERS
Commuters (day campers) will be expected to be in attendance by 8:00am to join in the morning session, and are also welcome to come early for the optional morning beach workouts. Night sessions will end at 8:00pm with free wrestle going until 9:00pm. Wrestlers are free to leave anytime after 8:00pm.

TRAVEL
For those traveling by plane or train, there will be vans available to pick up and escort each camper to the Army and Navy Academy.
Flights should be scheduled into the San Diego International Airport arriving before 10:30am on registration day and leaving after 3:00pm on the final day of camp.
Trains should be scheduled into the Oceanside Amtrak Station arriving before 11:00am on registration day and leaving after 1:30pm on the final day of camp.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE
It is important to note that due to the level of activity, we HIGHLY recommend to come to camp in good shape. While this is a wrestling camp where learning/improving technique is a priority, we will also place a large focus on physical activity to push the boundaries to gain a mental edge.

CANCELLATION POLICY
We know that not all things in life go as planned, so wrestlers may cancel at any time before 10 days prior to the camp start date. We will refund the amount paid minus the $100 non-refundable deposit. Cancellations within the 10 day window will be issued a credit for 50% of the total amount paid for future camps or clinics. No refunds or credits will be given for any reason on or after the camp start date.
